Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
FIRST WE NEED TO FIND THE VOLUME OF THE CANISTER.
BASE=PIr^2
BASE=3.14*4^2
BASE=12.56 CM^2.
VOLUME=BASE*HEIGHT
VOLUME=12.56*13.6
VOLUME=170.8 CM^3.
2.16*170.8=368.96 GRAMS OF SALT
368.96+28=396.96 GRAMS FOR THE COMBINED WEIGHT OF THE CANISTER PLUS THE SALT.
