Question 1075164: Please help me solve this word problem. A shrub has been cut and trimmed into the shape of an F. The owner has hired a landscaper to decrease the perimeter by 10 feet. Draw a diagram of how the landscaper might do this. Is there more than one way? Explain.

You can draw the F shape figure for yourself. More than one way to decrease the perimeter. Landscaper could cut off some from the top bar, or some from the middle bar, or some from the bottom bar (which points in a different direction than the top and middle bars). Landscaper could cut off some from two or three of the bars. Nothing exact without actual measures given.
