3w-2l = 8
3(51-l)-2l = 8
153-3l-2l = 8
-5l = -145
l = 29
So now we know the length. Let's find the width. Take one of the equations, any one. I'll use the first one, since I used the second to solve for l:
2w+2l = 102
2w+2(29) = 102
2w+58 = 102
2w = 44
w = 22
