Question 1043854: Shaila wants to see how far a wheel goes when it is set free on different types of floors. She takes a ramp (as shown in the figure below) and a rubber wheel. She places the rubber wheel on the top of the ramp as shown in the figure and lets the wheel roll down the ramp and then onto the ground.
She does this four times on different types of floors -
1) on a wooden plank
2) on a floor with a woolen carpet
3) on a beach where there is sand
4) on a floor with a sheet of sponge
On which of these will the wheel go most far?
