The base of a right pyramid is a square of a side 24cm and it's height is 16cm
find the Lateral Area and Volume
--------------
Each of the 4 faces is a triangle.
The slant height of the triangle is the hypotenuse of a triangle with legs of 12 & 16 --> 20 cm.
Area = b*h/2 = 24*20/2 = 240 sq cm.
LA = 240*4 = 960 sq cm.
-----------------
Vol = base area*height/3 = 576*16/3
Vol = 3072 cc
===================
PS it's = it is
