Question 1020543: In a grid of a backyard, the vertices of a garden are (20, 45), (40, 45), (40, 30), and (20, 30). The coordinates are measured in feet. Find the perimeter of the garden.
Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you draw this, the base is 20 units (feet) from (20,45) to (40,45)
The height is from (20,30) to (20,45) or 15 feet.
The perimeter is 2(20)+2(15)=70 feet.
