Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Suppose that the cost C, in dollars, of producing x items is given by C = 3 How many items can be produced for $ 13,000?
-------------------------
Each item costs C/x or 3/x dollars.
Then # of items that can be produced for $13000 = $13000/($3/x) = [4333 (1/3)]x items.
