let A be A's salary and B be B's salary, then
(A/6) = (B/5)
A = B + 3000
substitute for A in first equation
( (B+3000)/6 ) = (B/5)
cross multiply fractions
5B+15000 = 6B
subtract 5B from both sides of =
B = 15000 Rs
A = 18000 Rs

18000/6 = 15000/5
3000 = 3000
