Question 960692: If I won a jackpot and had to pay %4 to the IRS how much did I win?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
100% - 4% = 96%
So whatever the jackpot is, you keep 96% of it.
Example: say the jackpot is $1,000,000. You'd keep 96% of that, so you keep 0.96*1,000,000 = 960,000. This is just an example though.
