$8A+$3C=$380 Substitute for A
$8(2C)+$3C=$380
$16C+$3C=$380
$19C=$380 Divide each side by $19
C=20 ANSWER 1: She sold 20 Child tickets.
A=2C=2(20)=40 ANSWER 2: She sold 40 Adult tickets.
CHECK:
$8A+$3C=$380
$8(40)+$3(20)=$380
