Question 940205: Bob is in trouble. He was working the Pizza Shack Booth at the Marion Popcorn Festival, and was supposed to keep track of the number of each type of pizza sold during his shift. He knew there were 995 empty boxes at the beginning of his shift, and that there were 395 boxes left at the end of his shift. He also knows he sold $4,560 during his shift. Cheese pizzas sell for $5 each and pepperoni pizzas sell for $9 each.
Please help Bob figure out how many of each type of pizza he sold, and explain the process you used to arrive at the answer.
