Question 920392: A string is 55cm.long. if a piece (x-4)cm. is cut off,how long is left? ( answer (59-x)cm - show your solution )
Answer by srinivas.g(540) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Total length = 55 cm
a piece of length (x-4) cm is removed
hence remaining length = total length -removed portion
= 55-( (x-4))
= 55-x+-(-4)
=55-x+4
= 59-x
