So for this one we need to write an expression that represents the hours Lisa worked as a waitress.
First we write how she how much she made as a tutor:
t (hours) x $7/hour
To write the hours she didn't work as a tutor we simply subtract t from 106:
(106-t)
So the combined expression is:
(t x $7/hour) + ((106-t) x $14/hour))
