Question 873040: A man earns commision of 20% on goods that he sells. If his basic salary is $4200 a month and he sells goods worth $40000 how much would he earn ?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
20% of $40000 = (20/100)*40000
20% of $40000 = (0.20)*40000
20% of $40000 = 8000
Add this to 4200 to get 4200+8000 = 12200
He has earned $12,200
