Question 835520: A shopkeeper buys 35 radios for £435.75. If she sells them at £15 each, what is her percentage profit?
Answer by LinnW(1048)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First find the cost for one radio.
435.75/35 = £12.45 for one radio.
The difference between £15 and £12.45 = £(15 - 12.45) = £2.55 .
£2.55 is the profit for each radio,
so £2.55/£15 = 0.17 or 17% is the percentage profit.
