I'm not sure how you got your answer, but you should start by adding up all the expenses:
Newspaper $2250 Television $1425
Radio $954 Yellow Pages $1605
Outdoor $1950 Miscellaneous $2775
Total = $10959
Next, divide the radio expense by the total expenses:
Finally, convert this decimal to a percent by moving the decimal two places to the right, and round to the nearest tenth:
0.0870517383 = 08.70517383% which rounds off to 8.7%
