to find per lb., you can set up a proportion:
pounds = pounds>>>>>25lb = x *let x equal price per pound
------ ------->>>>>----------- ---
price = price >>>>>> $12 = $1
to solve the proportion, cross multiply:
25=12x
now solve for x to get the answer.
$2.08
ANSWER: $2.08
