AMOUNT SPENT ON 100 UNITS =100*50=5000 RS
the next 150 units cost Rs.8,250 in total
AMOUNT SPENT ON 150 UNITS = 8250 RS
.The next batch..OF...Y...SAY cost Rs.11,200 in total
COST OF NEXT BATCH = 11200 RS.
TOTAL NUMBERS BOUGHT = 100+150+Y=250+Y
and the final 100 cost Rs.x each.Find the value of x.
COST OF FINAL 100 = 100X
G.T. NUMBERS BOUGHT = 250+Y+100= 350+Y=550
Y=550-350=200
TOTAL AMOUNT SPENT =
5000+8250+11200+100X = 24450+100X=30151
100X=30151-244450 = 5701
X=5701/100 = 57.01 RS. EACH
