I thought the equation would look like this:

but when I went to check x, it just looked all wrong.

Lea had $134, and Drew had $180. After both of them spent an equal amount of money shopping, 

Drew had 3 times as much money as Lea.

 Translate into an equation:

   ||Yes, good work.

        2x =  = 222

         x = $111
