Steve and Cara went Christmas shopping and purchased 5 blouses and 4 skirts for relatives. The total cost was $326.00. Each blouse cost the same amount. The skirts were a different price, but all 4 were purchased at the same price. The prices were not recorded on the sales slip; it only read “5 blouses and 4 skirts… total $326.00”. Some blouses and skirts did not fit, so Steve and Cara returned 2 blouses and 3 skirts for a credit of $192.00. How much did they pay for each blouse? How much did they pay for each skirt?

5b + 4s = 326
2b + 3s = 192
