A person has invested $6000 . Part of the money is invested at 3% and the remaining amout at 4% . The annual income from the two investment is $225.How much is invested at each rate?
ans:-
say at 3% he invested $ x
so at 4% $(6000-x)
SO 3%X+4%(6000-X)=225
or 3x+4*6000-4x=225*100=22500
or 3x-4x=22500-24000=-1500
or -x=-1500
or x=1500 at 3%
6000-1500=4500 at 4%ans
