Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Husband invested x
wife x+100 000

interest = 5% = 0.05
I = p*r*t
35000= 0.05(x+100000) *1
35000 = 0.05x +5000
35000-5000= 0.05x
30000=0.05x
/0.05
x= 30000/0.05
x= 600,000 money invested by husband
add 100000 for wife' investment
