Total sell = $197,000

(Tickets sold for above 8 years old)* (Cost of a ticket above 8 years old)+(Tickets sold for under 8 years)*(Cost of a ticket under 8 years old) = Total sell
x*20+(13,900-x)*5=197000
20x+69500-5x=197000
20x-5x=197000-69500
15x=127500
x=127500/15
x=8500
