Let x = amt of 5.50 per lb coffee
then
(200-x) = amt of 3.25 per lb coffee
;
5.50x + 3.25(200-x) = 4.49(200)
:
5.5x + 650 - 3.25x = 898
:
5.5x - 3.25x = 898 - 650
:
2.25x = 248
x =
x = 110.222 ~ 110 lb of $5.50 coffee
and
200 - 110.222 = 89.77 ~ 90 lb of $3.25 coffee
