Thought you might solve this by 575/4 or (575-2)4 but it didn't seem to work please help thanks

When you add the 2 people you now have X+2 people and the cost per person becomes,
And you know that,
Now substitute into this equation.
Multiply both sides by the product of the denominators
This equation is factorable.
