$50000 @9% will yield = $4500 /year
10% investment = $ x
6% investment = 50000-x
..
interest received = 4500
0.1x+0.06x=4500
0.16x=4500
x= 4500/0.16= $28,125. This will be 10% investment
Balance will be invested at6% = $21,875
