Carla works for $18 an hour. A total of 23% of her salary is deducted for taxes and insurance. How many hours must she work to take home $4158?
23% is deducted from $ 18
23% of $18 = 4.14
She gets 18-4.14 = 13.86 every hour.
$13.86 she gets every hour
to get $4158 she has to work 4158 / 13.86 hours
= 300 hours
