Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6x+3(48-x)=4*48
6x+144-3x=192
3x=192-144
3x=48
x=48/3
x=16 pounds of cashews is used.
48-16=32 pounds of peanuts is used.
Proof:
6*16+3*32=4*48
96+96=192
192=192
