Tammy earned a total of $210 over 3 days.
Each day she earned twice as much as she did on the previous day.
How much did she earn on each of the 3 days?
------------------------
Let "x" be amount earned on day one
2x is the amount earned on day two
4x is amount earned on day three
----------------------------------
Equation:
x + 2x + 4x = 210
7x = 210
x = 30 (1st day
2x = 60 (2nd day
6x = 120 (3rd day
-----------------------
