You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The cost C for a company to produce, and the revenue R from teh sale of x units of a very expensive computer microprocessor are given by
C=17.8x+120,
R=33.7x-0.5x^2 .
How many microprocessors should the company produce for the venture to be profitable (R>C)?
----------------------------

33.7x-0.5x^2 > 17.8x+120
---
15.9x - 0.5x^2 > 1200
---
Multiply thru by 10 to get rid of the decimals:
159x - 5x^2 > 1200
---
Rearrange
5x^2 < 159x - 1200
----
I graphed the left side and the right side to see where left < right
12.32 < x < 19.48
Rounding to whole numbers:
13 < x < 19
