You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the total bill at a restaurant, including a 15% tip,
is $65.32, what was the cost of the mean alone?

Let $x = the cost of the meal, then
.15x = the tip

Cost of meal + tip = $65.32

          x + .15x = 65.32

      1.00x + .15x = 65.32

             1.15x = 65.32

                 x = 65.32/1.15

                 x = 56.8 or $56.80
