Question 216424: Jim is able to sell a hand-craved statue for $670 which was a 35% profit over his cost. How much did the statue originally cost him?
I know it was a 135% make up
thats like 670x 135 or 670/1.35 or something
but I need to know how to work out the formula. I need to know how to set it up.
Thank you
