Let eric's age now be "e".
Grandfather's age is now "e+57"

Four years from now:
e+57+5 = 4(e+5)
e + 62 = 4e + 20
3e = 42
e = 14 yrs (eric's age now)
e+57 = 71 (grandrather's age now)
