Let = the number of watermelons bought
given:
= the number of watermelons sold
= profit made on watermelons sold
= price paid per watermelon bought
--------------------------------------

This is (cost/wm + profit/wm)*(actual wm's sold) = investment

Multiply both sides by











(ignore negative result)

She bought 80 watermelons originally

= price paid per watermelon
= watermelons sold
= price paid for water melons sold
= profit on watermelons sold
