A group can charter a particular aircraft at a fixed total cost. If 36 people charter the aircraft rather than 40 people, then the cost per person is greater by $12. What is the cost per person if 40 people charter the aircraft?

The person cost is :
Let the cost per person with 40 = c
The cost per person at 36 = c+ 12
Total cost is the same:

Check yor answer. does 40*108 = 36(120)?? as they say in fargo 'you betcha'
