Everton college $1625 for an order of 47 calculators. the store paid $10 for each scientific calculator, The others all graphing calculators cost the store $57 each. How many of each type were ordered?

The total number of calculators is 47.

The total cost to the college was $1625(G cost $57, S costs $10).

Now use equation 1 and come up with an expression for G in terms of S.

Substitute that expression into equation 2.

Can't buy 0.43 of a calculator.
Please re-check your numbers and re-post the question.
The procedure is still valid.
It does work for $1645. (G=25,S=22).
