Answer by ikleyn(52803)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

0.04*x + 0.03*(6000-x) = 208

From the equation,

    x =  = 2900.

ANSWER. Php 2800 was invested at 4%, and the rest, 6000-2800 = 3200 Php was invested at 3%.

CHECK.  0.04*2800 + 0.03*3200 = 208 Php.    ! Correct !

Solved.
