Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P=Po(1+.08/1)^1.75
=13680(1.08^1.75) round at end
=15,652.3 rupees
==========================
I=prt
p=45000, r unknown, t=1/5 of a year, I=900
900=45000*(1/5)*r
900=9000r
r=0.1 or 10%

Correct answers:
It's PRINCIPAL, by the way!
TOTALLY IGNORE the person who is giving you a PRINCIPAL that's GREATER than the ACCUMULATED value of 13,680 rupees.
That's just BIZARRE and OUTRIGHT RIDICULOUS!
