Cost of 50 necklaces: $400

Cost to engrave 50 necklaces: 50(3), or $150

Total cost: $400 + 150 = $550

Let number of necklaces to be sold, be N

Then revenue: 20N

Profit = Revenue - Cost, so we get: 225 = 20N - 550

225 + 550 = 20N

750 = 20N
