Answer by jorel555(1290)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let n be the amount invested at 8%. Then
.08n+.09(2n+2000)=3560
.08n+.18n+180=3560
.26n=3380
n=3380/.26=$13000 invested at 8%, $28000 invested at 9%!!!!!!!!!!!!
