Question 995383: A salmon fillet initially at 50 F is cooked in an oven at a constant temperature of 400 F. After ten minutes, the temperature of the filet rises to 160 F. How long does it take until the salmon is medium rare at 220 F
Answer by addingup(3677) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
this is assuming that the salmon's temperature rises at a constant rate? If so, it went from 50 to 160: 160-50= 110 in 10 minutes, that is 110/10= 11F per minute.
And it has to go up to 220, that's another 110F and 110/11= 10 another 10 minutes
