$25-500x=$15-200x Add 500x to each side.
$25=$15+300x Subtract $15 from each side.
$10=300x Divide each side by 300
$10/300=x
$0.0333=x ANSWER 1: Each paint ball costs $0.0333
$25-500x=lunch
$25-$16.65=lunch
$8.35=lunch ANSWER 2: Lunch costs $8.35
400($0.0333)+$8.35=lunch and 400 paintballs
$13.32+$8.35=lunch and 400 paintballs
$21.67=lunch and 400 paintballs
