Question 788431: For the pair of functions, find (f-g)(x)
f(x)=8x-2, g(x)=2x-4

(f-g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)

(f-g)(x) = ( f(x) ) - ( g(x) )

(f-g)(x) = ( 8x-2 ) - ( 2x-4 )

(f-g)(x) = 8x-2 - 2x + 4

(f-g)(x) = ( 8x - 2x ) + ( -2 + 4 )

(f-g)(x) = ( 8 - 2 )x + ( -2 + 4 )

(f-g)(x) = (6)x + (2)

(f-g)(x) = 6x + 2
