Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + y = 320........(1)
5x + 2y = 1255.....(2)
Multiply (1) by 2
2x + 2y = 640
5x + 2y = 1255
Subtract
-3x = -615
x = 205
Substitute x =205 in (1)
205 + y = 320
y = 320 - 205
y = 115
So he sold 205 Adult tickets
and 115 Children's tickets
