maylene worked on her computer four times as long as christopher worked onhis.

Let x and 4x represent tiem spent by christopher and maylene respectively

Question states***

  x + 4x = 15hr

     5x = 15hr

      x = 3hr, time spent by christopher.  maylene spent 12hrs
