A scuba diver has a taut rope connecting the dive boat to an anchor on the ocean floor. The rope is 120 feet long. The water is 65 feet deep. To the nearest tenth of a foot, how far is the anchor from a point directly below the boat?
This is what I tried before:
I put this in a triangle form and tried to use trigonometric ratios to solve, but that didn't work. I tried putting the triangle in a regular ratio but that did not work either.
