Question 460355: Tough word problem, answer to this does not look right, I have 39,000.
The question is this:
The number of files N of the same size that a computer's hard disk will have varies inversely as the size S of the files. Greg's hard disk will hold 1300 files if each is 120,000 bytes long. How many files of each is 120,000 bytes long. Ho many files will the disk hold if each is 40,000 bytes long.
I don't think I have the right answer.
Thanks
