2/5 = (3/5)w
2 = 3w

Let x represent the weight of the orange in ounces
Question states***
x = (3/5)x + (3/5)oz
solving for x
2/5 x = (3/5)oz
x = (5/2)(3/5)oz
x = 15/10 oz = 1.5 oz
