The Caribbean Paradise has 13 more deluxe staterooms than the Pacific Paradise. The Mediterranean Paradise has 23 fewer deluxe staterooms than four times the number of deluxe staterooms on the Pacific Paradise. Find the number of deluxe staterooms for each of the ships if the total number of deluxe staterooms for three ships is 752.

Hi, 

Let x represent the number of deluxe staterooms on the Pacific Paradise.

Then (x + 13)staterooms will be on The Caribbean Paradise  and (4x-23) on the Mediterranean Paradise  



total number of deluxe staterooms for three ships is 752.

 x + (x+13) + (4x-23) = 752

solve for x 

6x = 762

x = 127, the number of deluxe staterooms on the Pacific Paradise.
