I assume you have to solve for n ?
First put the expression =0 so now we have an eqation

look for common factor,in this case
take this out to get
expression within brackets factorises easily to give

take n+3=0
so n=-3
n+5=0
n=-5
so your answer is n=-3 and n=-5
try plugging these into original equation to check
